It's all about choice....
Giving students choice within learning areas (English, Maths, Science, Health & PE, Humanities, The Arts, Technology and Language). In 2019 we introduced over 50 subjects across our 9/10 curriculum for 2020.
We have sought feedback from the students, assessed our data and asked teaching staff for areas we could improve on.
Maths and English have refined their subjects to allow students to work with others of similar ability levels, identifying the need for extension or skill building.
All students are encouraged to speak to their teachers in each subject about options for 2023.
