Baimbridge College Student Representative Council (SRC)
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is made up of 2 students from each year level from years 7 to 12. Under the guidance of Mr MacDonald, the group meets once a month to discuss students concerns, to organise fundraising activities and to make recommendations about initiatives they like to see introduced to the school. For example, in the past the SRC has sucessfully prepared a submission to School Council for the introduction of blazers as an optional uniform item for years 9 - 12, changed the boys socks and added jackets, caps and beanies to the uniform options along with making changes to the jewellry policy.
Two SRC representatives attend each School Council meeting and discuss issues that have been brought up and to offer a students perspective on the matters being discussed.
SRC also takes a leading role in representing the school at some of our larger assemblies and community functions such as Anzac Day ceremonies.
