Conveyance Allowance
The transport of students to school is primarily the responsibility of student's families. The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) provides financial support to some families to assist with the cost of transport to school.
Assistance in the form of a conveyance allowance is available to students who are in rural and remote areas and do not have access to a free school bus.
