Mr Hamence has been involved in education for over 30 years. In that time, he has taught students of varying ages and abilities in both ends of the country. For him, Teaching is a vocation not a job, challenging work but extremely rewarding.
As the Year 8 Coordinator, he is looking forward to working with parents and carers to ensure that their child develops sound work habits and inter-personal skills, so they can continue to grow academically, socially and personally.

Mr Watts returned to the Western District in 2021 with his husband, after living in Melbourne for 9 years.
They teach English and is the SRC / Student Voice Leader; deeply valuing student voice in the school community and is currently completing their Masters of Special and Inclusive Education after recently completed their Youth Mental Health First Aid, which they use every day to best support all students.

His position involves supporting students to reach their academic potential as well as their health and welling. Mr Lynch teachers in the areas of PE, Health and Outdoor Education and also heads up the Basketball program.
