SECOND HAND BOOKS:
At the end of the year Baimbridge runs a second hand book sale, a list of sellable items will be distributed to students and a list of books available will be given to students for purchase. Here you can bring in your second hand books to sell, as well as purchase second hand books at a greatly discounted cost of new ones.
To sell your books you will need to place an envelope with your name clearly printed on the front with the amount that you wish to receive for the book inside the front cover. The books will then be placed in the 2nd Hand Book Sale and if sold you will receive your envelope with the payment inside.
The 2nd hand book sales will occur in November for VCE and December for 7-10.
Any books that have an online component can be sold if relevant, usually codes expire in the new year, if not you need to contact the company.
Students who have purchased the bundle at the beginning of year 7 should retain their Atlas and Dictionary for the duration of their time at Baimbridge.
If enrolling mid year please enquire at the General Office to see if we have any left over second hand books.
Other sources to locate second hands books are:
Facebook - Hamilton Buy Swap and Sell group. Place a WTB - Wanted To Buy post on this site.
The Internet - Google "Second Hand School Books Australia" to find a list of them, Ebay and Gumtree are also alternate sources.
