Enrolment

Families who are intending on becoming part of the Baimbridge College community in 2022 are encouraged to download the Year 7 information pack and placement form from the DET website: https://www.education.vic.gov.au/parents/going-to-school/Pages/year-6-to-7.aspx (under the Steps to Enrol menu) Govt schools return your form to your Primary School, Independents can place them in our letterbox ​

Enrolment Process


For students enrolling at Baimbridge College outside of the Grade 6 to Year 7 transition process via your Primary School, you will need to contact the College and complete an Application to enrol (click here for procedure). 

Once the application to enrol has been received the relevant Year Level Coordinator all contact you for a meeting.  Meeting with parents and students is compulsory and copies of your Birth Certificate and Immunisation details must be provided.  If you are transferring from a private school or interstate / overseas, you must complete an enrolment form which must be returned prior to your child commencing.  Victorian State Schools can electronically transfer your enrolment details from one school to another, you will still need to provide relevant documentation and sign forms to verify the information given is current and correct.  Please call the College if you require more details.

Enrolments are not accepted without an interview and the completion of a satisfactory pre – enrolment check.

Baimbridge College liaises directly with its feeder primary schools when enrolling students from grade 6 into Year 7, transition days  are held during the year to enable primary students to experience secondary school first hand.  

Enrolment forms are sent to primary  parents of non government schools once notice is given of your intention to enrol.


For further information prospective students and their parents should contact our office for an appointment with your relevant Year Level Co-ordinator or Assistant Principal after this interview you will receive your information pack including your enrolment form.
