welcome

Choosing the right school for your child is an important and sometimes challenging decision. Each year, we meet families who are thoughtfully considering which school will best support their child’s learning, growth, and future opportunities.
At Baimbridge College, we understand that every student is unique - each with their own strengths, interests, and needs. Our goal is to know our students well and to support them at their individual point of learning.
We take great pride in celebrating growth. Whether a student begins at a Grade 5 level in Geometry and makes a full year’s progress, or starts at a Year 8 level and moves to Year 9, both achievements are equally valued. What matters most is that every student is learning, improving, and developing the confidence to take on new challenges.
At Baimbridge College, we’re committed to helping every student reach their personal best and build the skills they need to thrive, both at school and beyond.

ABOUT THE YEAR 7 & 8 HUB

The Year 7 and 8 Hub at Baimbridge College provides a supportive and structured environment that helps students successfully transition into secondary school. The program focuses on building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while encouraging curiosity, independence, and collaboration.

Students are grouped flexibly according to their learning needs, allowing teachers to target support and extend understanding where needed. These groups are reviewed regularly to ensure each student continues to progress and feel confident in their learning.

The Hub operates with consistent routines and expectations, helping students develop positive study habits and a strong sense of belonging. Daily Community Time sessions foster wellbeing and connection, with activities designed to build resilience and strengthen relationships among students and staff.

Across the program, students show steady academic and personal growth. Teachers work closely together to share strategies and ensure learning remains engaging, meaningful, and relevant.

The Year 7 and 8 Hub reflects Baimbridge College’s core values of Pride, Courage, and Respect, supporting every student to achieve success and take an active role in their education.
