The Certificate II in Music is designed for students that have an interest in the creative arts industry without needing to know how to play a musical instrument.
During the course students develop their skills in microphone selection, listening skills, staging, recording and sound with lighting. Three main projects are worked on including live performance technical skills, sound recording project and a mashup staging project. Partnered with the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre, real world experiences are provide with live performance operations. This is a one year VETiS program, and students will obtain a certificate II qualification after successful completion of all enrolled units.
