About Baimbridge

Welcome

Baimbridge College, Hamilton, is a co-educational Secondary school.  The College retains the best aspects of the schools from which it was created: Hamilton High School, Hamilton Technical School and the Hamilton Secondary College.  As such, it is well placed to deliver a comprehensive curriculum which effectively prepares students for further education in many fields of study and for employment.

A local primary school, Kent Rd Primary, closed in 2002 and the Baimbridge College Junior School was created in 2003 as a result.

At the end of 2016 after a lengthy period of consultation with the community the Baimbridge College School Council  recommend to the Minister for Education that our Junior School close and Baimbridge College become a Year 7 to 12 school again.

In 2018 Mr Warwick Price became Principal after Mr Robert Vecchiet retired.  Mr Price is proud to be building on a school where students are taught to their capabilities and beyond, where students are prepared for the future jobs that do not yet exist by heightening their skills in Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Culture, Creativity and Connectivity across all curriculum areas.  We strongly believe that every child should experience success and recognise that human communities depend apon a diversity of talent, not a singular conception of ability and return to our core values of pride, courage and respect in everything we do.
