Year 9/10 Program

We strongly recommend downloading the course information booklet, it contains more comprehensive information.

Course Book

It's all about choice....

Giving students choice within learning areas (English, Maths, Science, Health & PE, Humanities, The Arts, Technology and Language).  In 2019 we introduced over 70 subjects across our 9/10 curriculum for 2020.
We have sought feedback from the students, assessed our Semester 1 data and asked teaching staff for areas we could improve on.
The decision to reduce the number of subjects by consolidation in some subjects was made to address the number of students missing out on selections when they did not run due to insufficient numbers.
Maths and English have refined their subjects to allow students to work with others of similar ability levels, identifying the need for extension or skill building.
All students are encouraged to speak to their teachers in each subject about options for 2021.
Below you will find links to the 8 Learning Areas and one for VET for year 10's with information on all of the subjects on offer within.  We have included a short video from  staff intended to cover what they would discuss with you on an information evening.
Please note that the staff member in the video is not the staff member assigned to the class as the timetable is not built.
Use your sheets posted to you to help determine which subjects you will select online.
Whilst we are working on a site issue with some videos we recommend downloading our course booklets and having a read, they're full of useful information and colourful images. Where there is no image to say the video is under construction there will not be a video on this subject.
