At Baimbridge College every Friday is Supergroup Day. In leiu of Form Assembly the students gather in their Supergroups.
Supergroups are constructed by combining the Grades 5 & 6 and Years 7 & 8 into eight different groups based on houses. Supergroups are designed to build friendships within the Middle Years as well as the House groups and offer leadership roles to the Year 8 students.
At the end of every term a Supergroup Day is held where the students undertake team building activites. Year 10 peer support students volunteer to come in and assist with the administration of each group, taking rolls and partaking in activities with the students, this has enabled these year twelves to have a voluntary leadership position within the school and the younger students have an opportunity to interact with our Year 10's.
At the end of the school year Supergroups are pitted against each other in an event of olympic proportions (maybe not quite so large) in the pursuit of the much coveted FISHER CUP, named after our much loved and recently retired Mr David Fisher.
FISHER CUP WINNERS: 2014: LAVER! 2013: BRADMAN!
